Potlatch Fund 2014 Fundraising Gala

Potlatch Fund was formed in 2002 and is a Native-led 501(c)3 nonprofit and leadership development organization. Among Northwest Coast tribes, a potlatch is a coming together in ceremony, celebration, sharing, and giving. Potlatch Fund honors these traditional values and is dedicated to inspiring the Native tradition of giving by expanding philanthropy within Tribal Nations and communities in the Northwest. The Annual Gala is Potlatch Fund’s major fundraising event and brings together people from many different tribes, organizations, corporations, and communities.

The 2014 Gala will be held on Saturday, November 1, at the Tulalip Casino and Resort, and includes:

» Pre and post dinner networking receptions
  » Native art silent auction
» Dinner celebrating traditional and local foods
  » Cultural performances
» Presentation of the Leadership Honoring Awards
» Presentation of the Philanthropist of the Year Award
» Presentation of the Social Innovation Award

The Gala provides the opportunity to honor tribal leaders and local tribal initiatives, to share culture through song and dance performances, to support and celebrate Native art and artists, and to assist Potlatch Fund with its fundraising efforts as it undertakes important work throughout Northwest Indian Country. Join us in Tulalip -Saturday, November 1- and help us celebrate over a decade of success!

Funds raised at the Gala will be used to sustain the organization’s operations and grantmaking programs, currently in the areas of Community Building, Native Arts, Language Preservation and Education, and the InterTribal Canoe Journey. In Coast Salish tradition, we raise our hands to you in thanks and appreciation for your support of Potlatch Fund!
